For our 2023/2024 season, MashUp is asking the incredibly complicated question - “What does it mean to be a woman?” Exploring socially relevant topics such as the gender binary, bodily autonomy, discrimination and defining what our lives look like as women, we want to create work that centers the voices and stories of all those who live as women, in ways that provide insight, invite dialogue, and ultimately celebrate the freedom to define womanhood for ourselves.
